Unity Before Heresy

Hello again. Over the last 12 months you may likely have seen a lot of posts centered around forces and scenery I was preparing for the various events I had scheduled for the coming season of war. These events range from a narrative arc exploring the conflicts of the Cataclysm of Iron set during the Horus Heresy to the glory days of the Great Crusade as mankind explored the stars and ended the oppressive regimes of xenos tyrants. My aim was to lay on a smorgasbord of narratives and game systems to not only cater for existing players in their preferred system but to also allow players to experiment in other systems or story lines. Currently we have planned events that cover Age of Darkness, Age of Darkness with the Great Crusade expansion and a very special culmination event which draws the series of events to a close.   Well met fellow hobby enthusiasts. I’m very pleased that the initial plan for the Enemies of The Emperor Great Crusade era expansions for the Age of Darkness rules has been accomplished. Books 1 & 2 have been finished for a few years now but they were in need of a facelift and some small changes to bring them into line with the current rules from Forge World.  It was only upon these edits that I realised this project started way back with the Warhammer 40000 6th Ed rules - crazy to think the game has moved on 3 editions since and is now a completely different rule set. So these books are now firmly set in the grim darkness of the not-as-far-as-before future, which I think suits the armies within in terms of depth for narrative, non-competitive play. Hello Everyone Tylar here - Welcome BACK! Wow what a time in human history to be alive. A global pandemic, man returning to space in a commercially built rocket and the UnityB4Heresy Team bringing you some saucy lock-down terrain for when this all ends and we can get back to serious gaming. 😀 Now obviously it isn't the same for everyone but here in the UK we've been restricted in movement during the lockdown period and whilst its been really tough for a lot of people it's been amazing to see everyone within the community turn to hobby to keep themselves busy. Our own King Fluff  has been running zoom hobby hang-outs and has been getting through a back-log of projects that we hope to bring you in the future.
