Unity B4 Heresy Blog Round-up - We're back!

Hello Everyone!  Summer is ebbing away and autumn is only round the corner.  So as the days get shorter, colder and darker we hobby folk slink back to our man-caves and begin afresh with ways to batter our enemies on the table top.  Whilst we've been away we've all been busy so he's a look at what we've been up to.

GG has gone rogue and has been building like an idiot.  From AT terrain, addition to his sisters of silence and even a Fantasy model?!

GG's Iron Warrior heavy armoured division got its first lick of paint (but no further <shameface> )
GG also picked up the Age of Sigmar endless spells box for beastmen with the sole purpose of using the xxx as razorwings for his sisters of silence xxx cadre.

GG also dug out his (very) old Battlefleet Gothic minis ready to play test our (in production) Imperialis Armada rules, watch this space!

Aaaand he couldn't resist the new Warcry warbeast fury models for his (never seen the light of day) Daemons army....

King Fluff has been spreading his hobby time quite thin of late.  He’s been spending time working on both his Secutarii and Custodes forces along side prepping some NPC models for his forth coming event ‘Cataclysm of Iron III’.

He’s now hitting the Gold wall hard with several new editions to his Custodes force ready for this seasons event schedule.  If you’d like to see his recipe for painting gold armour, check out his article on the blog here:

King Fluff's Custodes Tutorial

Some of his mecahnicum in progress.

Tylar has been limited in his hobby time of late.  On-going family priorities have seen him put his hobby time on the back burner.  But during those times where he's been able to make progress he's been putting the beginnings in place for his new Shattered Legion force.  This will centre around a Salamander main body with additions of both Raven Guard and Iron Hand legionaries filling certain roles.  The force will include mixed tactical squads with the Salamander force providing the Veterans and weapon specialists also.  There will be mixed units throughout that will look to show off each additional Legion's strengths in the force build narrative.  He's also having fun making parts for those specialists which you can see below with his additional Pyroclast Torso's to be used for weapon specialists.

Tylar also has a keen eye for a bargain and has recently picked up some more Imperial Fists from various areas of the Heresy Trading pages and sites.  A great addition has been a Primus Medicae with a shield.  The shield may or may not stay but as part of a larger force including Terminators, another WHW exclusive Praetor and another 20 breachers he'll be able to field a significant breacher based force in the future and it was a great bargain.

For the Greetings From The Warp event coming up he's also adding some more quad launchers to his force because....why not ?😆

Finally to prep ready for his new Shattered Legion force Tylar will be test painting some miniatures to make sure he's happy before committing to schemes.  Thanks to the help of Jimmy PH who has such a beautiful Salamanders Army, he now has great paint scheme to try for his central force.  Eventually he hopes this will grow to another Legion force using Salamanders with his first painted Primarch....watch this space.

NEXT WEEK....
...the UB4H team is preparing for the upcoming Ruinstorm event hosted by the Greeting From The Warp boys.  GG's White Scars are being reinforced with a detachment from the Black Ships,

King Fluff continues with his men in gold..

And Tylar will be repurposing an older project for the Greetings event and it's BIG!
