Unity B4 Heresy Blog Round-up
Hello everyone! Tylar here, another week has past for all of us at the blog with some hobby revisits for me, gaming shenanigans for others and more painting and/or modelling for all.
Before I get to the guy in the feature shot I'll start off this week with some Age of Darkness love for my Imperial Fists. It's been a while since I've done much with them. But with me in the process of stripping one Dreadnaught Drop Pod with the new one cleaned in preparation for build I decided to revisit some of my squad projects.

Versatility is key so I like to have options. In this case multiple 'choom' lol from a heavy support squad. Whilst in the throws of kit bashing a full 10-man squad from parts I've moulded using Green Stuff or Procreate, or parts lying in my bitz-box I managed to pose the first five up in preparation (Hence the blue-tac and 25mm bases). I need to gently heat up the rear weapon feeds to match up to the back-packs but I'll do that last before I separate the weapons for painting.

The other squad was a case of base coat armour and weapons which you can just make out behind. This is half of my 10 man missile launchers squad. I have both the shoulder mounted versions and the under slung ones for visual effect. That way I have either a 10 man squad or two five man squads.
But the real revisit for me was my Loyalist Death Guard Praetor. It was an idea I had after reading Flight of the Eisenstein and I decided I'd like to do a pre-fall Praetor. The weapon needs to be finished and I need to touch up here and there, but overall I'm glad he's almost finished. As part of the on-going hobby room tidy he'll look great in my cabinet once it's all put back together.

This week King Fluff has been delving further into the Belt of Iron, fashioning battlefields in the realms of Arachnis and Arl’yeth. He still has some way to go but after the last big push he can focus back on Legio Astraman and his VIIIth Legion.
If you are interested in picking up a ticket for the second or third part of his event series set in the Cataclysm of Iron then check out Eventbrite, tickets for part 2 are already on sale and a limited number of discounted tickets for part 3 go on sale 11/03 at 9pm GMT.

Again he's made from various parts I moulded from Procreate (PC), a couple of plastic spare arms, a third-party weapon and some Green Stuff (GS) legs.
The head, body and shield are PC, the legs are GS this was a trial fit after I'd added the pins which you can see above.
In all his Loyalist glory.

This week, Col.Hertford continued to work on his Warbringer. Unfortunately RealLife™️ prevented work on much else. But things are coming together on the Titan and boy is it going to look good when it's done! It is an absolute beast.

So there you have it everyone. Like many others I'm still waiting on my copy of Book 8: Malevolence to be dispatched. Once I have it in hand be ready for a review it should be great from the hype and copies we saw at the HH: Weekender 2019.
If you'd like to attend a King Fluff event or grab yourself a more important ticket for the next available installment search 'Cataclysm of Iron' on Eventbrite and look for the King Fluff presents signposts.
As ever thanks for reading and come back tomorrow for our very first 'Friends of the Blog' post from JohnGG!
Read his guest post as he takes us through his recent foray into tournament life at the Horus Heresy: Throne of Skulls event held at Warhammer World the weekend after the Horus Heresy Weekender.
