Welcome to Unity Before Heresy!

Welcome to the first post on this the newest blog dedicated to War gaming and Hobby in the Unification wars, the Great Crusade, the Horus Heresy, and eventually the Scouring periods.

Unity Before Heresy (UB4H) is the brain child of three bloggers with the aim of cataloguing our hobby pursuits so we can inspire and motivate each other and you, the reader.  We are concentrating our efforts towards several areas of the hobby:

• Building and painting models - this is the main drive behind the blog, the team are all hobby butterflies and this blog is to help us stay on target.  We will be targeting our energies in this area towards specific goals. 
• Showcasing armies - we will be displaying the models we have, and showcasing the models we finish as time progresses.
• Battle reports - be it reports from a one off gaming day, an event or a campaign of interlinked battles across different game types, we will do them all.  These will be the culmination of the build and paint series.  
• Rules - King Fluff is the driving force behind a rules set concentrating on the great crusade.  He will be showing extracts and discussing the rule set, as well showing the creation of the models that will fight in these wars, He is also writing rule sets for playing out void wars in the Heresy era and skirmish games set during the Unification of Terra.
• Showcase events - See pictures of the events we go to including the awesome King Fluff presents events.

The initial build and paint phase will focus on small Adeptus Titanicus forces which will then fight in a day of hostilities over the Christmas period. This will then escalate through next year as we muster more powerful and larger forces.
