Unity B4 Heresy Blog Round-up

Greetings everyone. Well it's been a busy first foray out into the blogosphere for the members of Unity B4 Heresy as a new entity. We've been busy in the back ground looking to create lots of new and interesting content for everyone and it's exciting times.

I wouldn't exactly call it as much as a triumph as Ullanor but like the Primarchs we have enjoyed surveying what we've accomplished. It's taken us some time to get to where we are and we've placed a lot of thought behind the blog what we want to achieve. As we move forward and take the blog into 2019 it really is exciting.  We'll be collaborating with other blogs, we'll be taking part in events and we'll be putting on our own.  So stay tuned and stay frosty.

This week I've been putting together the beginnings of my Axiom Maniple which will be the basis for the forces I'll be using in the Unity B4 Heresy Xmas AT Bash coming up. Still lots to do but once the basic colours are sprayed on the skeletal parts I hope the base colours on the armour plating will set it all off.  More to follow over the next few weeks so continue to keep your eyes peeled for new content.  Like the other members of the blog I'm looking forwards to seeing the Adeptus Titanicus up-grade weapon sprues and the new Reaver Titan in the New-Year.

This week, Col.Hertford has been preparing for the Christmas Game by assembling and basecoating two Sunfury Annihilator Plasma Cannons.  These are 3d prints, but will be replaced with plastic once the sprues hit next year.  He's also printed a Reaver Volcano Cannon, this means he can crack on painting this week.

In other news he's also been printing Fellblades,  the first three are now base coated and will join my Iron Warriors armoured phalanx soon.  This already comes to 5 x Super heavy tanks but how much is too much?

Finally and certainly not least, he has started the rites of construction of his Warbringer Battle Titan.  He decided to start with the AA turrets because and I quote, " they are cute and sexy!" He has started cleaning the Quake Cannon and will build this next.  The Warbringer will be forming part of the Battle line at the Titan Owners Club Blog Walk 2019, and will feature on the Titan Owner Club Facebook group later in the year.

This week King Fluff has been tackling the additional units needed for the Unity B4 Heresy Xmas AT Bash. He’s built an additional Warlord and Warhound to round out his forces. Stay tuned for future posts in his progress. He’s also been painting up a couple of additional models for a Custodes Scout Force to compete in Heresy Birmingham’s tournie just before Christmas - he’ll be doing a step by step on painting quick and effective gold armour over the next couple of weeks.
King Fluff is hoping that he’ll be able to spend some Xmas 'dollar' on either a new Dreadnought Drop Pod or Titan weapons (of either scale) if they get released soon.

So there you have it our first round up and an idea what expect the coming weeks with a little smattering of the future with the arrival of 2019. Keep coming back for more great content.  More importantly if there was something you'd like to see or ask any questions please comment below, we look forwards to hearing from you!

  1. Thanks for the update, and great work on those Fellblades - are those from your own files?

  2. I believe the files Col. Hertford has used for those are from Thingiverse Schoon. Although I know he's gathered various files from a few different sources to achieve the great results he's had.
