Unity B4 Heresy Blog Round-up last before Xmas

Evening everyone! Tylar here again to round-up the UB4H member's week of hobby.  There's a lot to update you on with what's been happening in the back-ground and what's to come over the next week mainly Titans! 😉

The fantastic artwork from Titan Death which I myself downloaded from Black Library yesterday.

This week has seen King Fluff preparing for war at Heresy Birmingham/Board in Brum’s Return To Harmony event. It was a Scout Force FOC so a little tweaking was required to those models he already had at his disposal - so he painted up a couple more Sagittarum for the event (taking two squads of 3) - they performed admirably and were a great addition to the restricted FOC. He had to take a navigator as his mandatory HQ as power levels restricted the use of shield captains. The highlight of the event was after having to hide the navigator almost every game, he ended up in a prime spot behind a collective tonne of containers as a 20 man tactical squad including a Delegatus, Chaplain and Apothecary advanced on his position after being baited by three Custodian Guardians. The navigator unleashed his Aerher sight and deleted the Delegatus from the unit (which subsequently butchered the navigator) but it was such an uncanny series of events that it created a very amusing end result to the days gaming.

Whilst painting his Sagittarum, King Fluff has also been chipping away at the first of his Imperial Fist Contemptors whilst waiting for other bits to dry. It’s nearly at the stage for metallics now and he’s identified a process which he should be able to apply to the whole of the force.

He’s now looking forward to pressing home on the Adeptus Titanicus Force for the blog Xmas bash in just under a week.

This week Col.Hertford has mostly been painting Legio Gryphonicus Titans for the Christmas Game.  The Titans; Two Warlord, a Reaver and a Warhound, are progressing well.

He has also started the pair of Knight Lancers that will complete the force.  House Vyronii will help Gryphonicus crush their foes!

The long road to Epic Legions also continued, with more Fell Blade and Fell Glaive super heavy Tanks rolling of the production rig.  More about these in a future post.

I have been making further progress with the basing of my second Warlord and Reaver Titan ready for the blog's Xmas gaming get together.  We may even have a guest gamer! More of that to follow at the end of next week.  I'll be covering my Titan's basing in a Tutorial for Christmas day.  So once you've had your fill of Turkey, Xmas dinner and other merriment and you're on the sofa surfing the blogosphere head back here to see what I've been doing to go that extra mile to show off my Titans and add detail.  Below is a little taste of what I've been up to.

The base seen here is for my Second Warlord Titan.

This is the WIP shot of my second Reaver Titan base.

Hopefully visiting the page and checking out our posts you are enjoying the content. Please feel free to comment below let us know what hobby you're doing over the holidays, whether that's gaming with friends and family or building and painting, or you'd like to ask any questions.  And don't forget to tell your friends and keep coming back!

Until next time. Merry Christmas to All and Happy Holidays!
