Adeptus Titanicus - The Governors Palace

Hi all, Col.Hertford here.

Today, as part of our Christmas Adeptus Titanicus game preparation, I want to show you my biggest piece of AT terrain to date.  I’m calling it the Governors palace.  This is a very big piece of terrain and can comfortably hide a Warlord Titan.  I wouldn't expect to have too many buildings of this size for your average sized game, but themed buildings are great as one off eye candy.

The building is currently unpainted, but it will get hit with various greys and dry brushing when the weather clears (its raining so hard I can hear it through the double glazing).

How I built this was I mocked up the basic shape.  I thoroughly recommend cleaning then laying out the panels.  I then glued each face of the building using a flat (very flat ceramic) table and the edge of a cutting mat as a guide.  Importantly I took it slow.  It took me a whole day to glue as i let the glue properly go off before moving on.  I also carefully clamped the model when assembling the four sides. This meant it when together with very few issues.

  1. Great work on this - is the center gap a total pass through?

    1. Hi Schoon, many thanks for the kind words. The centre is a solid section. The idea is there are balconies all round where the Governor can address his people. I will add more pictures in a future post to give a better idea.
