Unity B4 Heresy Blog Round-up
Evening everyone!
Another busy week here at the blog. Hobby and gaming has been taking place. Whilst I've been neck deep in work I did manage to scrape some hobby time in today with the others beavering away on several projects. Col. Hertford has been concentrating on other things this week so there's no update from him I'm afraid but lots from the rest of us.
First up is JohnGG
This week GG has mainly been pontificating... 😕
Looking at his big grey to do pile, and taking advantage of having his lil’ bro down visiting him for Easter hols he decided to unpack and crack on with building a pair of Land Raiders.
Land Raider 1: will be a standard Land Raider outfitted with Mk.2 sponsons and Sagittarius pattern tracks. GW plastic kits and third party resin parts do not always go together neatly...
The second Land Raider is a bit of a specialist, a Land Raider Achilles Alpha. For all your Volkite, Feromantic invulnerability needs 😎
These two tanks will form the brunt of his Heavy Assault mechanised battalion addition to his Iron Warriors. Led by none other than the Taskmaster himself, Erasmus Golg.
Also, in line with our Malevolence focus he's in the process of writing up a battle report as he begins detailing the Chondax Campaign. Look out for that soon...
This week King Fluff has been busy sorting out the war room - whilst trying to stay ahead of the curve by building more Titan weapon systems and s couple more units towards his flow grow campaign hosted by Horus Heresy Birmingham.
Today I managed to continue painting up terrain that will both serve for Adeptus Titanicus and Age of Darkness. I have added some external pegs to them so that the domes can be added or removed to us as full stacks or as just the domes themselves. The masking took the longest time but now that they've been masked off and sprayed with rattle cans I can move onto adding transfers and weathering after I tidy up a few more panels.

As you see there are a few stages and bar one photo I forgot to take there will be a full post on these and the containers I have previously done coming soon. With so much work recently I've had to park projects that are a bit more involved however with some well earned time off coming up more completed projects will follow. It's great to be in a position where I have several projects on the cusp of completion that there will be a shed load. I get it's like buses wait for ages for one and several turn up at once! Trust me they'll be worth the wait.
That's it for now guys.
Only In Death Does Duty End
- Tylar, King Fluff, Col. Hertford and JohnGG.
